This Wiki will discuss and inform about the problem of Hearing Loss, a very common problem among the society nowadays.

Hearing LossEdit

Hearing loss is a most common problem of old age. Most of the old age people are facing this problem and are using different treatment options and remedies for it to enhance their hearing power. This problem increases with increasing age and today people all over the world are suffering from this problem.

But with increasing tensions and unhealthy lifestyles this problem is also seen in young adults and teenagers. Today even children can suffer from this condition under various circumstances and unhealthy lifestyles are one of the major causes of this. This is the problem which seems to be very simple at early stages. People suffering from this may not all the time know about it at beginning.

Most of the people who lose the hearing power at start do not even know about it and do not care for this which further becomes complex and disturbing later. Situations get worse year after year if not cared at early stages. It is therefore necessary that you immediately consult your physician ENT specialist as soon as you get aware that you are losing the hearing power.

Hearing loss may be of different types according to the various factors. These can be classified as Conductive loss, Sensorineural hearing loss and Mixed hearing loss that is a combination of two. There are many factors that results in hearing loss. Unhealthy lifestyles like smoking, consumption of alcohol, listening to high volume of music at most of the time, living in noise polluted areas, etc. are the main reasons that can be incorporated with hearing loss.

Many times unhealthy diet also affects you and may cause hearing loss. It is therefore necessary that you insist on taking healthy and fresh food that avoids many of the problems and diseases. Prevention is always better than cure. You can add some healthy diet that is rich in Vitamin A, C and E, to prevent Hearing Loss.
